| Viv and Raichu continued to meander around, using Viv's Crimsa-Comm to hunt for the scattered Crimson Dragonballs. It wasn't long after finding their way out of the tunnel they found the Three Star Crimson Dragonball, that they saw a sign not far ahead of them. The sign read, "Welcome to West Oaks!" Viv and Raichu looked around, and saw nothing of interest here.
"Lame." Viv commented. Suddenly, something groaned behind them, and they quickly spun around to find a zombie in Viv's face. It lunged in, hoping to take a bite, when Viv screamed like a girl, and jumped back. "Zap em, dude!" Viv yelled to Raichu. Raichu released a Thunderbolt, and shocked the zombie to the ground. "That was close. I wonder where he came from." Viv said scratching the top of his head. Raichu pointed behind them at something and alerted Viv. Viv looked and saw smoke over a hill. He ran up the hill, and was shocked to find smoke coming from a building in a small town. The town looked ravaged and even had frowny dark clouds hovering over it. He could see bloodstains on the sidewalk, and totaled cars and trucks littering the streets. He counted 3 vehicles driven into houses just from what could be seen. Not a single window wasn't boarded up and broken into. And worst yet, many zombies could be seen wandering around the ghost town. "My god, they have built a city." Viv said as his jaw dropped. It was then that the zombies noticed them.
"Just keep running! We need to get the hell away from here!" Viv exclaimed as he raced back the direction he came from. Soon, he found himself home in Copperfield. He burst through his front door, and closed and locked it behind he and Raichu. He was now face to face with Jaice.
Jaice was armed in camo, and had a shotgun in his hands. "I'll hold em off." He said, presumably about the approaching zombies.
"You're going to hold off all the zombies? Viv asked.
"Yes, but you need to pull the Master Sword from the stone, and shine its holy light to purge the zombies from here." Jaice explained.
"What? Really? Well where's the Master Sword?" Viv asked.
"It's on the back porch. Check the storage closet." Jaice said.
"Really? This is going to be easy!" Viv said and raced to the back porch. He threw open the storage closet and found an open meadow inside. Atop the legendary Bunker Hill, Viv found the Master Sword, and pulled it from its stone. A bright light radiated from the sword as it was pulled, and Viv wasted no time in going back through the strange door leading him back to his back porch. As he burst into the apartment, Jaice was in his room shooting zombies outside his window.
"Oh good, now hold it up when you step outside." He said.
"What? Aw dammit, I'll just run back to Bunker Hill." Viv said, wishing he knew that before he raced back. Atop Bunker Hill, in the wooded area he had pulled the stone at in the first place, Viv held the sword above his head in classic hero pose when a beam of light shot out of the tip of his sword, straight into the sky. "I did it! I'm a hero!" He shouted happily. It was then that a NASA cruiser crashed to the ground behind them. "Um...what are the odds of that happening twice?" Viv asked and held the sword up again. A beam of light shot out again, and this time, the sky began to light up. "I think it worked that time." Viv said to Raichu.
Just then, Jaice could be seen running towards them. "It worked, they all vanished, and-what the hell did you do?" He exclaimed seeing the wrecked spacecraft. Viv turned to face the ship. It was then that he noticed something shiny that had rolled out of the ship from the crash. Viv rushed over and found the sought after Two Star Crimson Dragonball.

| Episode 65: Fulfill the Prophecy Garchomp was thrown back from the massive hit, and slammed against the wall.
"No, Garchomp!" Viv shouted, seeing his pokemon take the critical hit.
"Air Slash now!" Steve commanded as Togekiss sprung back into the air, firing off its strongest attack against Magmortar. The hits sunk in heavily on Magmortar, as the flaming pokemon stumbled back from the hit.
"Ancient Power!" Kellin commanded, adding to the Magmortar beatings.
As Cradily fired off its Ancient Power, Spiritomb also fired off a Dark Pulse attack at Magmortar.
"I don't get your Spiritomb dude." Kellin said to Jaice.
"I don't too well either..." Jaice replied.
From all three hits, Garchomp was avenged as Magmortar dropped to the ground. The Berserker looked enraged from the team assault on one of his own, as he growled from under his breath. He called back Magmortar and retaliated with two fresh pokemon: Pinsir and Claydol.
"His Claydol is out!" Kellin exclaimed.
"That's his teleporter! He's going to escape!" Steve shouted.
"Not this time!" Viv exclaimed and ordered Garchomp forward. Garchomp picked himself up from the Hyper Beam, and charged in at the Claydol. Without hesitation, Claydol fired off a Hyper Beam of its own, breaking tradition. The Hyper Beam sunk into Garchomp, sending him flying back. "Garchomp, no! Return!" Viv shouted and recalled his fallen pokemon. Viv quickly readied another pokeball, then threw it. "Toxicroak, you're up!"
Toxicroak emerged from his ball, ready to avenge the ranch he watched burn to the ground at the hands of his enemy.
"Viv's right though, guys!" Jaice said. "We need to target that Claydol so there is no retreat this time."
Steve studied the scene before opening his mouth.
"Giga Drain!" Kellin shouted as he commanded his pokemon to sweep the Claydol. Cradily jumped forward, and fired off a powerful Giga Drain at his opponent.
Amidst the assault, Steve's trance gaze wandered over to The Berserker across the field. The Berserker stared back at him with a sinister smile, as if mocking him.
"Toxicroak, Fake Out that Claydol, then follow up with a Sucker Punch now!" Viv commanded, hoping to ensue the demise of the Claydol. Toxicroak pushed past the still-standing Cradily, only to watch Primeape charged down from the air with a Cross Chop attack, aimed for Cradily, narrowly miss Toxicroak, only to have Spititomb slide in quickly again with a Shadow Sneak, knocking Primeape from the air, sprawling to the ground, KOing the countered fighting type. In that same moment, Toxicroak rolled back to his left, dodging the Discharge at both Toxicroak and Cradily, when Togekiss flew in quickly with an Extremespeed attack, ending with a Protect to shield both Toxicroak and Cradily from the assault completely.
"They're working together really well!" Kellin exclaimed.
"Yeah, this is the end of Claydol. Now he won't be able to retreat." Jaice added.
"I don't think retreat was in his plans this time." Steve said. They turned and looked at Steve, as if he had more to his theory. "He sent his Claydol into battle on purpose. We're slaughtering it out there, and he isn't calling it back. He doesn't have Oran giving him constant orders anymore, so now he's free to do whatever he wants, and I'm pretty sure he wants to end it here too." Steve said. "We don't have a choice-we have to plow through however many pokemon he has, even though it could be more than ours all put together."
"That's not possible man!" Viv exclaimed in shock. Almost all of his pokemon had been played at least once, and Garchomp down and out. He knew he'd be the first one out at this rate, and with not much time either.
"We need to radio PIT, and get reinforcements, right now." Jaice said, and started using his Comm-Link.
"Not going to work here." Steve started. "This is the Mirage Kingdom. Unless someone can find a Togepi, or one of its evolutions, no one can enter the Mirage Kingdom. This is truly a fight to the finish."
"Well don't count us out!" A voice shouted from behind them, and they heard a small shot of some attack get fired off to their right. Agent Unown, who had been standing behind them the entire time stepped towards the capsule like bubble containing Deoxys, and ordered his growing hoard of Unowns to fire their Hidden Power attacks at it. The bubble began to pulsate, aching from the mess of Hidden Powers, when finally an explosion was heard, and shattered pieces of somelike similiar to glass was spread across the floor. A large hole was blown through the corner wall where it was kept, and sunlight poured in through it.
"No!" The Berserker roared at the sight of the freed Deoxys. Just then, he looked back to the field to find Toxicroak had come down with his Fake Out-Sucker Punch combo on Claydol, sending it to the ground for the final time.
Deoxys emerged from the smoke, and turned to face The Berserker. Terror was struck through him, as he knew his only weakness was upon him. Deoxys then turned to face the battlefield, and held out one of its tentacle like arms. It shot some sort of electrical pulse from its tip, and hit Exploud, Magnezone, Pinsir, even the KOed Primeape and Claydol. The pokemon shrieked in agony, as they began to glow a bright green, when they finally broke to pieces, , all no bigger than crumbs, and were absorbed back into Deoxys.
"That's incredible!" Jaice exclaimed.
"He must be taking his energy back that Oran used to fuel The Berserker." Steve tried explaining.
Before the final pokemon could be absorbed, The Berserker threw one final pokeball into play, as his Aerodactyl emerged. He quickly climbed on its back, and flew off through the hole created by the capsule explosion.
"He's getting away!" Steve exclaimed as he charged towards the hole, after the Berserker. Without missing a beat, once the final pokemon was absorbed, Deoxys flew through the room at lightning speed, grabbing Steve and Lucario, and putting them on his back. They then began pursuit after Aerodactyl. "Ack, Togekiss use Extremespeed!" Steve yelled as he charged through the hole on Deoxys. It was no use however, as try as he might, Togekiss was just not able to keep up with Deoxys or Aerodactyl.
"This is Agent Viv of Kanto PIT, please send a message to Hoenn PIT, We have an agent in aerial pursuit of The Berserker around the Sky Pillar area." Viv said into his open transmission on his Comm-Link.
"I know Hoenn PIT hates jus, but they HAVE to send help to Steve, they just have to!" Kellin said, hoping for the best.
"It has been pretty crazy up to this point. I'm not sure how Hoenn is going to respond." Jaice said thinking back.
Soaring at high speeds well above the lan d of Hoenn, Steve and Deoxys continued pursuit of The Berserker, but Deoxys could not catch up, even in his speed form. "Lucario, blast that Aerodactyl with Aura Sphere, now!" Steve exclaimed, hoping level the escape.
Lucario fired off an Aura Sphere as it sailed through the air, screaming in the wind as it flew, but Aerodactyl was easily able to dodge it. Lucariio continued to power up Aura Spheres, and fire them at the high flying Aerodactyl, but because of the intennse flight, the '"never-miss" attack was amazingly unsuccessful. "Whoever said Aura Sphere never misses never tried using it like this." Steve commented. "Keep going Lucario, you have to hit him, you're our only hope!" Steve shouted. He then noticed his enemy was descending, as if heading for ground. It was then, as they had finally made it through enough clouds, that they saw Sootopolis City not far in the distance. Aerodactyl and The Berserker came within the city walls, and fired off a Hyper Beam at one of the buildings. The shot soared through brick and glass, tearing a massive hole in the building. The assault continued, as Aerodactyl would fire off a Hyper Beam, recharge, and fire off another, all the while dodging Lucario's Aura Spheres. Some of the Aura Spheres even ended up crashing into the city. A panic ensued in the wall-locked city of Sootopolis, and the shrieks of the citizens could be heard very clearly. "Dammiit, we have to lay off of him! Let him go, he's going to hurt too many people if we keep this up!" Steve shouted, frustrated he had no choice but to let his nemesis go once again. "I don't understand! He doesn't having Oran giving him orders anymore, but I'm still no match for him!" It was then that he looked up as he heard Aerodactyl shriek in agony. Time seemed to stand still for Steve as he saw his exhausted Togekiss, finally catching up to the fight, fly right into the face of Aerodactyl, and fire an Aura Sphere of his own into Aerodactyl's chest. The hit crashed with a bang, sending a harsh cry out of Aerodactyl's mouth, and The Berserker's. Aerodactyl flew upwards in a panic, staggering from the hit.
"Now's your chance!" Steve shouted, watching the injured Aerodactly try and flee. Lucario charged up an Aura Sphere of massive proportions, and let it fly, as it soared above the Sootoplois skies, crashing into The Berserker as well. The defeated Aerodactyl and Berserker only flopped around in the air for a few seconds before they felt Deoxys's Zap Cannon attack, sending a powerful shock blact through both their bodies. The pain did not last long however, as Deoxys quickly absorbed what was left of Aerodactyl, and grabbed The Berserker in a bear-hug. Screaming in agony, The Berserker stared past Deoxys, into the eyes of Steve. Deoxys began to take back his energy, and break the curse of The Berserker all while the paralyzed enemy squirmed. It took longer than it did for the fear-created pokemon, but finally, the body of The Berserker began to glow a bright green.
From the shaken Sootoplois City, citizens looked to the sky, watching intently for fear of their futures. Suddenly, the sky began to glow a bright green, and an awe was heard throughout the land.
"Look dad, come see!" The young Prince Yache exclaimed, tugging at his father's robe. After putting up a small resistance, King Nanab let Yache lead him out to the courtyard. That was when they noticed the horizon far in the distance. "Isn't it great, Dad!?" Yache asked.
"What in the world is that? The sky is turning green?"
Just then, Princess Enigma burst through the doors of the courtyard, followed by the PIT Agents and Agent Unown. "Father, he's doing it! The hero is chasing down the great evil!" She exclaimed. It was then that Jaice noticed the sky himself.
"Hey look at that! The sky is that weird emerald green color over there! Do you think it's Deoxys?" He asked.
"I'm pretty sure it is." Viv replied.
"How could it not be?" Kellin added.
The Berserker continued to roar in agony as his very essence was being absorbed back into that which it came from. Finally, he broke his gaze from Steve's and it was all over. Deoxys could no longer hold The Berserker, for he was now broken down into millions of tiny fragments, all glowing a blinding green. The final scream of The Berserker, the nemesis that had tormented Steve and hundreds of others, echoed in the wind, and was never heard again. Deoxys finished absorbing the energy, and the blinding green aura finally faded.

| NOTICE: THIS CRIMSON DRAGONBALL SHORT STORY HAS NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH PIT. Viv awoke and found himself looking up at the sky. "When did the moon have such a big face...like that one from Majora's Mask?" He asked his Raichu who happened to be standing next to him. The moon then began to spin in outer space, and looked directly at them. "Ack, what the hell is going on?" Viv asked.
"Viv! You are caught in a nightmare world, and must wish your way out of it!" The moon said to him.
"Say what?"
"Nightmare world! You! Trapped! Do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars!" The moon tried explaining again.
"Oh." Viv said. "And I have to 'wish' my way out? Do I need glass slippers, or will my Adidas work?" Viv said and began clicking his heels.
"It will not be that easy! You must find the 7 Crimson Dragonballs if you ever want to have sweet dreams again!" The moon said. "You and your pokemon must track down the seven balls and summon the Glass Shenron. Only then will you be freed from nightmares!"
"Ooooook..." Viv said. "How do I find the dragonballs?" He asked.
"Open the map application on your Crimsa-Comm. It will lead you to them. Be careful though Viv. The road is full of unexpected surprises, and you will travel far and wide." The moon warned. "Now go. I'm tired of looking at you." Viv and Raichu followed the path using the Crimsa-Comm. No Crimson Dragonballs were anywhere near them. They made their way towards the closest one. They finally found their way to the town of Sugarland, a quiet place with no trash or litter. Life was slow for the people of Sugarland, and Viv and Raichu wasted little time. They closed in on the dragonball's coordinates when suddenly, a herd of Shyguys ran past them. "Look out, Raichu!" Viv exclaimed as they narrowly escaped being trampled by the various Shyguys. It was then that they noticed one particular flying Shyguy carrying a glowing red ball. "Hey look! That flyguy has the dragonball! Shoot him down, Raichu!" Viv commanded. Raichu launched a Thunderbolt attack at the flying Shyguy, but it missed, and the ball escaped them. Tracking the ball all the way to the next town, the town of Humble, Viv and Raichu had much time to meet the locals. Humble was a quiet place with many great fields for a good nap. The people were all just as hairy as Viv too! It was great! But as they neared the dragonball again, the flying Shyguy saw them and took off yet again. Exhausted, Viv and Raichu found themselves in a wooded area called Northwest Crossing. They collapsed to the ground, discouraged and beaten. "We may never get outta this strange place." He said to his Raichu and fell backwards in defeat. To his surprise, he fell through the stone wall he was trying to lean against. "Ouch, I hit my head! Hey wait! This wall is invisible...let's see where it leads!" Viv exclaimed and they ran into the fake wall. They soon found a giant floating golden ring that was rotating before them. "What the hell?" He asked aloud, but suddenly, the ring sucked them into a different dimension. They were now on some kind of runway. A frozen timer hovered above Viv's head, and small golden rings could be seen in the distance. The ground was a bizarre checkered pattern. "Where the heck are we?" Viv exclaimed jumping up and down. But everytime he jumped, he jumped really high, curled into a ball, and flipped a whole lot. "Um..." Viv said to Raichu. Raichu tried jumping, and the same thing happened to him. "You can't control that either, huh?"
"Sonic!" A voice shouted from down the path. "You will never get the Chaos Emerald at the end of this road, and I will-hey wait a second. You're not Sonic, and that's not Tails!"
"Nope. I'm Viv, and that's Raichu. There's a Chaos Emerald here? Let's go get it!" Viv exclaimed.
"Wait, stop!" The voice shouted from some sort of intercom system. Viv and Raichu raced through the course at blinding speed, jumping at grabbing rings. The timer began to run down, but they kept passing strange 'checkpoints' and a strange hand with a thumbs up would appear before them. Finally, they reached the end of the tunnel, and found a Crimson Dragonball rolling away from them. Using 'Super Sonic' speed, Viv leapt ahead, and grabbed the 3 Star Crimson Dragonball! | | |
| Episode 64: Unbeatable They all watched as Viv descended down through the clouds, taking Oran's strange chest with him. Jaice, Kellin, Steve, Enigma, Unown and Raichu all watched in horror as one of their own was defeated by The Berserker.
"No, you fool, my chest! You weren't supposed to lose that plate!" Oran shouted in a rage at The Berserker.
"A plate!?" Kellin exclaimed.
"You were drawing power from one of those?" Jaice asked.
The Berserker advanced past them, back towards Oran. "I found that plate years ago, and found a way to draw power from it into myself. But now it's gone, and I'm on empty! I guess The Berserker will just have to kill you. Go get them! Quit coming back over here you stupid oaf!" Oran yelled at The Berserker.
It was then that everyone stopped what they were doing as they then noticed Raichu. Drawing massive amounts of energy into his body, Raichu charged forward at full force at The Berserker. "Don't do it, Raichu!" Jaice yelled, hoping Raichu would stop its enraged assault. To everyone's shock, Raichu jumped up, just as The Berserker was about to counter his Volt Tackle, and quickly bat him to the ground, Raichu grabbed his arm instead, and jumped off of it, dodging The Berserker completely. He came down at full force from the boosted jump on Oran, smacking both of them into the giant bubble containing Deoxys. The large amounts of electricity surged off of Raichu's body, through Oran's around the barrier, and into Marowak's bone club, who was still standing on top of it, using just that; Bone Club.
Marowak, who hadn't noticed much up to that point, felt the tingling of large amounts of electricity lightly pulse through him. He then decided to look down, and found Raichu and the strange guy in a dress. It was then that the bubble-barrier he was standing on began to pulsate itself. Marowak jumped off quickly, and quickly ran over to the crowd to find Viv. He then became confused. He hadn't noticed the hole in the wall earlier either.
"Viv's gone, Marowak. You didn't see it happen?" Steve asked.
"Apparently not." Jaice chimed in. "Looks like Azumarill wasn't Viv's only oblivious pokemon. This one just gets carried away attacking."
"This Raichu! Get him next, how dare he strike at me! Throw him to his trainer!" Oran yelled from underneath the bubble with the defeated Raichu. The Berserker began his advance towards Raichu as he was only a few yards away at this point.
"That's not going to happen! We won't let you! Go Floatzel, Aqua Jet him now!" Kellin yelled.
"You too Infernape, Mach Punch right now!" Jaice ordered.
Steve then turned to Lucario as well, and said, "Use your Extremespeed to get in there quickly!"
Floatzel and Infernape were off, shooting across the room at The Berserker, as Lucario pulled ahead of them with Extremespeed. He lunged at The Berserker who reached over and grabbed him by the throat and lifted him into the air. Floatzel was next as he turned on the water-works, and prepared to crash into The Berserker and free Lucario, but instead, The Berserker did the unthinkable. He reached out with his other hand, and grabbed Floatzel with his open hand-leaving himself wide open for Infernape's Mach Punch.
"Big mistake dude. Infernape's gonna wreck you now." Jaice thought to himself, seeing the opening. However, at the last second, The Berserker threw the Aqua Jetting Floatzel at Infernape, slamming them both to the ground. It was then that The Berserker pulled Lucario up to eye level and growled at him. But something was strange that only Lucario noticed. His eyes were different. As if he wanted something. He then threw Lucario to the ground, as if "setting" him aside.
"No way!" Kellin shouted.
"He countered all three!" Jaice agreed.
"Lucario, get up, save Raichu!" Steve coached. Lucario sat up, and looked at the scene intently. His body was sore and beaten, but he could see The Berserker's aura clearly now. Something was different.
"Marowak, you should get in there and fight as well to help Raichu!" Jaice urged. Marowak thought about this for a second. Taking orders from Viv was bad enough, but this new guy with a giant nose? Yeah, why not? Best case scenario: He takes me home. Marowak ran in to join the other pokemon, when Lucario turned around and held his paw out to stop him. Marowak was stumped. He had no idea why Lucario was stopping him. He thought about Bonemeranging the Lucario, but figured if he did, he wasn't going to get home to his crypt.
It was then that The Berserker lunged down and picked up Raichu. "He's got him!" Kellin said aloud.
He quickly tossed Raichu aside. He then reached down and grabbed Oran by his arms and legs, and held him like a trophy over his head. The group was quiet, and in complete shock. "What's he doing to Oran?" Enigma asked as she watched in awe.
"Squashing him like a bug." A familiar voice said from behind them. They spun around to find Viv behind them with Unown's Alakazam. "Thanks for the lift, Alakazam. And thanks, Unown." Viv said to his rescuers. He then pulled his right hand out from behind his back. "Oran has no hold over The Berserker without this plate." In his hands, Viv held up a light blue plate. "Mourar was right. The Sky Plate was out here. It was miles above the Earth Plate all this time."
"You! Hairy kid! Give me that plate, hurry or he'll kill all of us!" Oran said, squirming in The Berserker's grasp. The Berserker walked over to the opposite wall, and kicked a giant hole in the side of it. He wasted little time, and threw Oran through the hole. Unown and Enigma watched with no words to speak as the man they trusted all their lives was tossed to his own treacherous death. He then turned around and faced the heroes.
"Ack, Raichu!" Viv shouted and raced over to his fallen pokemon's side. "I'm going to guess you did something reckless while I was out to lunch." It was then that Viv thought about something else. "Hey Marowak, did you help out? Good job!" Viv congratulated. Kellin began to think back to himself, "Has Marowak DONE anything since Viv left? Has Marowak been of use at all today?" Marowak was confused too. He had no idea what he was being congratulated for.
It was then that The Berserker threw out four pokeballs at one time. Primeape, Exploud, Magnezone, and Magmortar all emerged, and appeared ready for battle.
"Looks like the same old routine here..." Jaice said and readied a pokeball. "Spiritomb, I choose you!"
"I have some ground to make up for. Garchomp, let's go!" Viv exclaimed and threw out a pokeball.
"I'm down with a fresh start. Cradily, time to rock out!" Kellin cheered.
"Togekiss, it's time to end this!" Steve yelled and threw out a pokeball.
Garchomp flew forward with a powerful Dragon Claw attack to Magmortar, only to get sprayed back by the flames fired from its arm cannons. Garchomp pushed forward, slicing into Magmortar, flinging him back. Primeape charged past Garchomp, lunging in with a Karate Chop to Cradily. Narrowly countered, Spiritomb dove in with a Shadow Sneak attack, throwing Primeape aside.
"Great job Spiritomb! You SAVED someone!" Jaice congratulated. Spiritomb had yet to make a saving dive for anyone. It was then that Jaice began to think back if Spiritomb ever had any opportunities up to this point. Spiritomb was just wondering why everyone was looking at him.
Togekiss hovered up into the air, and fired an Aura Sphere down at Magnezone. Magnezone used Protect, and was spared from the hit, just in time. Togekiss soon reached a problem however, when Exploud began shooting Ice Beams at Togekiss. One landed just enough on Togekiss's right wing to freeze it, and send the flyer to the ground.
"Togekiss needs our help! We have to thaw out its wing!" Viv shouted to his teammates.
"Garchomp needs to use Fire Fang on it! Put the tanks forward! Let's go, Jaice!" Kellin replied.
"Good call. Spiritomb, you and Cradily need to hold them off Togekiss and Garchomp for a second.
"Screw that dude. That Exploud knows Ice Beam? Garchomp hates that crap." Viv said. Everyone glared at him. "Er...Garchomp, go thaw out Togekiss's wing." Viv commanded dully.
Garchomp began rushing back as Spiritomb and Cradily bounced forward...slowly. Primeape charged at Garchomp with a Mach Punch, ready throw him down. Spiritomb lunged in with a Sucker Punch this time, sprawling Primeape away again.
"I think he just hates that Primeape." Viv said in regards to Spiritomb targeting the Primeape twice now. Spiritomb kept turning around, and this Primeape was moving crazy fast. How annoying.
Garchomp rushed in and began charring embers on his tongue, readying a fast but weak Fire Fang attack. As he lunged in, Magnezone began charging a Mirror Shot attack to fire at Garchomp, when a powerful Ancient Power attack was fired from in front of Garchomp. Garchomp turned his head to find Cradily next to him, firing off Ancient Powers. As Garchomp neared Togekiss, an Aura Sphere was fired from him, and Garchomp had little trouble dodging the "never-miss" attack. His assumptions were true however, as Togekiss was aiming for someone on his heels, in this case, Exploud. Garchomp finally sunk his teeth into the ice, and began melting it. He hated ice. He realized this was possibly the nicest thing he had ever done for Togekiss. Togekiss was finally freed from the health hazard, as Magmortar nailed Garchomp dead on with a powerful Hyper Beam attack from the back of the field. | | |
| Episode 63: Reach for the Killswitch Oran smiled a very grim smile at Enigma and Yache, certain their attempt had failed thanks to a beautiful Berserker counter. Medicham stood on his guard, but was uncertain as to what exactly he should do. Steve dangled above the floor, as The Berserker stared into him, waiting to finish the hero off. "Medicham..." Steve gasped out. Medicham turned his attention to his trainer, and waited for the sentence to finish. "I trust you..." He said. Medicham was silent as he knew his trainer had passed the steeringwheel to him. Medicham thought for a second, which was still new to him again. Without the shadow in him pushing for aggression, he was unsure what the right solution would be. He then decided to act on his final instinct. Charging forward at blinding speed, Medicham slammed into the Berserker with a powerful Psycho Cut-uppercut to the chest. Steve was dropped to the ground, and the next few seconds were crucial. "Sudowoodo, let's rock and roll!" Steve yelled as he was finally freed, and able to send out extra pokemon. He reached for his pokeball, but stopped when he noticed something he thought he should be doing instead. "The chest!" He yelled taking note of the strange chest Oran was getting his initial powers from. He then turned to the trapped, sleeping Deoxys. "I don't know what's in that chest, but it can't be more powerful than Deoxys!" Steve finished.
Medicham was brought to the ground quickly as Metagross was fast to react. Charging in with another Bullet Punch, Medicham was smacked into the side of a wall, causing a loud crash. The struggle Medicham had created was in vain, as The Berserker quickly raced over and captured Steve again. Grabbed by the back of his neck this time, The Berserker held him high.
Oran then stepped forward to Steve, and cleared his throat. "Let me say this. I care nothing for you. What order you all die in makes no difference to me. If the legendary hero wants to go first, then so be it!"
Unown started chuckling from the back of the chambers. Oran turned his attention to Unown, and was none too happy for another distraction. "Something amuses you, your highness?" Oran asked from across the room.
"Yeah." Unown said still chuckling. "You're finished."
Oran then followed the gaze of Unown, and found a giant fist in his face as someone yelled "Close Combat!"
Amazingly enough, from the Medicham distraction, Alakazam had teleported to safety, and picked up Viv, Jaice, and Kellin. It then teleported them back, quickly, and undetected. Jaice had led off with Infernape to Oran, and used a Close Combat to smack him around.
"PIT in the house!" Jaice taunted and stepped forward.
"So this is going to be our final bout?" Kellin asked looking at The Berserker. "Yeah, I'm cool with that." He said, and threw a pokeball into action. From his ball, Floatzel emerged, ready for action.
"Marowak, Bonemerang The Berserker, now!" Viv commanded and threw a pokeball of his own. With Marowak, Floatzel, and Infernape now ready as reinforcements, the fight seemed much more even.
Marowak immediatly threw his bone club at The Berserker, knocking him back, releasing Steve for the second time.
"Alright Floatzel, Brick Break those shackles hold ing Agent Unown!" Kellin commanded, and Floatzel dove in.
Infernape finished his frenzy on Oran, and kicked him against the side of the wall.
"Attack them all! Kill the whole lot of them!" Oran yelled as The Berserker and his Metagross charged in.
The team raced across the room to Agent Unown's side as Enigma and Steve joined them. "Thanks guys." Steve said, joining his commrades.
"Don't mention it." Viv replied.
"We were really bored." Jaice said back.
It was then that Metagross lunged in on Floatzel, hoping to Hammer Arm him to the ground. As the giant arm started to come down, none other than Medicham jumped in, saving Floatzel from the hit. Knocking the water pokemon aside, Medicham was buried under Metagross's powerful attack. "Medicham!" Steve yelled watching his pokemon suffer. It was then that Lucario jumped out of his ball from Steve's cry. "Lucario..." Steve began. He knew what Lucario wanted most of all.
"Viv, get Marowak to try and free Deoxys! Maybe his Bonemerang can break that barrier." Kellin suggested.
"Good point." Viv said. "Hey Marowak, see that Deoxys sleeping over there?" He asked. Marowak turned around and faced the Deoxys. "Wake him up, no matter what."
It was then that Lucario jumped in, still injured from the Explosion that had hit him just the night before, but ready to end this Metagross once and for all. With a powered up Aura Sphere, he launched the attack at Metagross, catching him off guard. "Hey Jaice, Kellin!" Steve began calling to the open agents. "Oran said something about that chest over there giving him power. See if Floatzel and Infernape can get it open. if we can take that artifact, The Berserker and all his nightmare pokemon will be weakened."
"Shouldn't be too hard. Marowak seemes to be making some progress on Deoxys if nothing else..." Jaice said, also pointing out Marowak giving up on Bonemeranging the forcefield. He was now standing on it using Bone Club, casually hammering away.
"No Marowak, you have to hit harder than that! Are you sure Bonemerang wasn't doing more damage? Let me try, give me your bone!" Viv exclaimed trying to figure out how to break the barrier.
Infernape continually punched and kicked at the chest, trying depseratly to crack it open. Floatzel continued to use Brick Break and Ice Fang, hoping to eventually get in as well.
Oran had picked himself up, and stood next to The Berserker. "Send out more pokemon! They're trying to take the artifact and free Deoxys! Do it now!" He commanded. The Berserker reached for a pokeball, when Oran suddenly commanded him to stop. "The chest...they're making their way into the chest. This cannot be! Stop them now!" He yelled, changing his commands. Metagross charged in with another Bullet Punch, lunging at Floatzel. Lucario stopped him however, using a powerful Psychic attack to grab Metagross with his mind and stop him.
"Come on guys, get that chest open!" Steve urged.
"Go Marowak! Wake Deoxys up!" Viv cheered.
"I think Viv is playing his own game." Kellin commented.
"If you leave him alone long enough, he'll do that." Jaice said.
Metagross had finally had enough of Lucario getting the best of him, and lunged in with a Meteor Mash attack, smacking Lucario across the face.
"Lucario, get up!" Steve ordered in a deep tone. Lucario knew Steve was serious, and that he was their last hope. Lucario was also aware how badly Steve wanted him to be the one to finish The Berserker; almost as much as he did himself. With sweat pouring off his face, Lucario stood up, and calmed his mind. He then charged forward with an Extremspeed attack, only to change it at the last second into a Force Palm attack, shoving Metagross back.
"Good going, Marowak! Almost there!" Viv urged.
"Meteor Mash did nothing to that Lucario!" Oran exclaimed. He then went and hid in a closet in his chamber. "Use the last resort move!" He commanded from the closet. The Berserker raised his fists into the air, and then started pounding on his giant chest. Metagross began to draw in energy.
"It's going to explode!" Steve shouted. "Launch it outta here with Aura Sphere!" Steve yelled in a frenzy. Lucario, in his hour of desperation, fired off an Aura Sphere that was unrivaled, sending Metagross flying through the wall. Everything went great except one part.
"Oh shit, Viv, pay attention!" Jaice yelled. Viv turned to find the aura sphere pushed Metagross had passed by him, and grabbed him with one of his legs as Jaice, Kellin, Unown, Enigma, and Steve narrowly dodged the blast through the walls.
"Help me!" Viv yelled as he reached for something to grab hold of. Down Metagross tumbled, out the side of The Mirage Kingdom, to the earth far below. Viv dangled by a thread, as he held on to part of the chest Infernape and Floatzel had been cracking at.
"Come on, let's grab him!" Jaice rallied, as Jaice, Kellin, Unown, and Steve began pulling the dangling chest and Viv up.
"Stop this!" Oran said peeking out of the closet to The Berserker. The Berserker charged forward on his own, without calling out any pokemon, and pushed all of them to the ground. He then grabbed the end of the chest Viv wasn't holding and held it out, over the gaping hole. "No you ignorant fool, don't!" Oran shouted, but it was too late. The Berserker released his grasp on the chest, dropping both it and Viv to the ground below. | | |
